It's been two weeks since the release of Gutter Magic #1.  I wanted to post a few of the reviews I'm currently aware of.  I'm VERY grateful for the amazingly positive response this book has received!  I feel personally blessed to have read so many wonderful responses to my work.  If you get a chance to check it out, let me know what you think!

***EDIT 11/10/2015***  I just got word the street date for issue one is Jan 20, 2016!

It's been a loooooong time since my last post, but I return with good news!  Gutter Magic, the four issue mini I illustrated, has been completed and will be coming soon from IDW in conjunction with the generous folks at Comics Experience.  I'll post more details as they become available to me--and maybe even some art.  It's a solid and unique book, unlike anything else I'm familiar with, filled with character, adventure and magic, set against the backdrop of a steampunk New York, where the elite magic-users enjoy the full benefits of their power and the rest of society is forced to accept their lesser station in life...or are they?  If that sounds like your kind of book, I hope you'll check it out!

After a lot of hard work, waiting and more work and waiting, I can finally make the announcement that IDW, in a partnership with Comics Experience will be publishing Gutter Magic!  Needless to say, we're all very excited.  I am more passionate about Gutter Magic than anything I've worked on in the past.  It's the first time I've been able to really dig into and fully develop an entire world.  It's very gratifying that IDW and Comics Experience believe strongly enough in what we've accomplished with Gutter Magic that they're publishing it.

I know it's been a while, but I can't begin to tell how busy I've been the last couple months.  But I hope everyone is well, and having a great new year.  Mine has gotten off to an amazing start.  And today I got some great news.  Gutter Magic #1, the book I'm illustrating, received a review rating of 9 out of 10!  I'm very, very pleased with that.  Everyone on the team got recognition for their hard work, which I truly appreciated.  If you'd like to check out the review, drop over here:  www.newsarama.com/comics/best-…

I'm going to start posting some art from the book, as I don't think I've posted anything in a long time.

We've been fortunate in that Gutter Magic has gotten a number of really positive reviews (I've just been too busy to take the time to write about them), but for Newsarama.com to give us such high marks is very, very cool.
