Venom Symbiote Daredevil WIP

This is another work in progress. It was originally intended to be an entry for a Ten Ton Weekly Sketch contest, but I didn't have time between projects to finish it in time to enter it. The challenge was to "Venom-ize" any hero. I thought it would be really cool to see a Venom version of Daredevil. I mean, that would be the "Man Without Fear...Striking Fear into the Heart of Everyone." So I added some horns on his head and down his back, as well as weird, spike/horns on his hands/knuckles. I don't know if he needs the billy clubs, but what the hey. I also like that he doesn't have eyes, which would admittedly reduce some of the graphic appeal of the face, but is still true to the character.

This is a little closer to where I'm going with my penciling these days, especially on his right hand. Though loose here, I've been working with using a lot more fine rendering for mid-tones.
