A couple quick updates
Journal Entry: Mon Aug 18, 2008, 10:10 PM
Hey everyone! We'll get back to brainstorming something cool for 1000 page views ASAP. I just wanted to updated everyone on why I've been a little quiet on the boards the last week or so. I had some free time about a week ago (a terrible, terrible thing for me), so I thought I'd get my computer fixed-up a bit, and get it running a little smoother. I got it running ok (I had previously lost some work I had been doing about a week prior to that, which really motivated me to get things fixed before waiting any longer). So then I decided to install the liquid cooling system I had purchased a year or two ago. I just hadn't had the time to install it, and this was as good a time as any. Well, when I purchased this system, I made certain to walk through the whole purchase with the service technician from the company. I informed him of all the components I was targeting, and he assured me I had purchased all I needed. So, taking his word for it, I started installing the components recently, only to find, (after I had removed my video card's heatsink and installed their component over it, that I didn't have the proper brackets (sold separately) for my CPU. So I'm kind of stuck waiting for UPS to deliver the proper brackets since I'm not going to reattach the heatsink to my video card and remove the rest of the cooling system I've already installed. In the meantime I'm using my wife's old G4, which has been a REAL pain (I just spent eight hours this afternoon/evening trying to get my scanner to work on her machine--but thanks for at least letting me use it, Leslie). I mean, I think her mouse must weight five pounds. The whole thing, the mouse, the keyboard, even the desk it's resting on, seems like it's designed to give you carpal tunnel syndrome.
So, until I can get my computer running again, I won't be able to finish the Gir piece. But don't worry, we'll get that posted ASAP, as well as a bunch of other things I've got to post. And we'll get back to the 1000 page views ideas as well. I've got a thought, but there were some really cool ones posted, so I may got with some of your ideas instead of mine.
Thanks as always!

Hey Mike, where have you been lately? I haven't seen you on Ten Ton in a while. I've been crazy busy, so maybe I just haven't been paying attention.
The BIG question, though, is when are you going to paint that Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow piece? That's the first I've seen of it, and it totally rocks.
Thanks for stopping by and keep up the fantastic work,
